On Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, Hartville Church of the Brethren will celebrate our 100th Anniversary.
Please mark your calendar and make a special effort to be with us. On Saturday October 5th, there will be a workshop lead by Jonathan Shively from 10am to 2pm entitled “Into a New Century – Giving Gospel Shape to the Church”.
There will be a covered dish supper at 5pm, followed by a hymn sing.
On Sunday, October 6, Jonathan Shively will be delivering the sermon entitled “‘Follow Me’ – Into the Next century” focus will be John 21:1-19. We will be recognizing the many people who have molded the church to what it is today. The worship will be 10:30am and then at 6pm we will gather for Love Feast and Communion. As much as we would like to see you on this 100th anniversary weekend, if you cannot be present your prayers of thanksgiving and hope for the Hartville Church of the Brethren would be appreciated.
