September 20, 2015 – I Peter 1:10-16 “Prepared for Action”

Peter tells believers that they should prepare their minds for action.  Believers in Christ need to understand that in this life there will be suffering and trials of every kind, even persecution.  So it should never catch us off guard.  It is at those times when we think that we should have a nice, comfortable life because we have accepted Jesus that adversity arises to test us.  Thus, we need to prepare ourselves so that we will not be overwhelmed or discouraged.
