To live, love, think and act like Jesus.

We believe that all people with and without disabilities are created in God’s image and likeness. However there is a noticeable absence of people with disabilities in most churches. Our goal at Hartville Church of the Brethren is to connect people with and without disabilities to God and each other. Everyone is welcome to be a part of the worship experience that consists of three parts. Morning devotions, fellowship time and the J&K(Joy and Kindness) Service. Morning devotions consist of scripture and a sermon. The Fellowship time is a warm drink and donuts. And the J&K Service is an ability inclusive service with time to interact and connect with others throughout the service.

We want to try to make everyone’s worship experience as meaningful as possible. We offer multiple ways for people to worship, as well as connect with God and others through singing, signing, reflecting, creative response, using colors/images/sculpting and molding clay. Our service is designed so that people of all abilities can have an opportunity to express themselves.
