This Christmas may have been a little different. There may not have been as many Christmas pageants equipped with angels and shepherds. However, we could have had a Christmas pageant based on the Gospel of John. All that would be needed is a single candle. No color, music, or pageantry: just a single candle. A light piercing the darkness is not much of a party, but our purpose is not to have a party, but to celebrate, in Christ, the party of life!
