The 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment was a fighting unit of African-American soldiers during the Civil War fighting against all odds.  They were fighting for glory.  Today’s Scripture tells us about the glory of the Messiah.  Was He, too, fighting against the odds?  Where and how did Jesus find glory?
